4Kids Entertainment (commonly known as 4Kids) is an American film and television production company known for English-dubbing Japanese anime and specializing in the acquisition, production and licensing of children's entertainment around the United States. The company is most well known for its range of television licenses, which has included the multi-billion dollar Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! Japanese anime franchises. They also ran two program blocks: The CW4Kids on The CW and 4Kids TV stations, both aimed at children. As of December 27, 2008, the 4KidsTV block ended on Fox Network, leaving 4Kids to only broadcast The CW4Kids. As of December 21, 2012 4kids Entertainment is now known as 4Licensing Corporation.

4Kids acquired the rights to air The Gems: A Magical Adventure from The Mirror of Magic in 2009 and made an English dub of its own for the show that was aired on 4Kids TV, formerly known as the FoxBox, from January 9, 2009 to December 27, 2012, and on the CW4Kids from July 18, 2009 to July 17, 2011. This dub included many plot changes, such as new scripts, voice actors, and name changes, example Sugar's sister name from being "Ruby" into "Miele".
